With the Belvoir Castle ground’s mud likely still settling from the previous weekend’s all-night obstacle fest – our extreme 24-hour challenge, World’s Toughest Mudder – a technically difficult countryside setting, and an always-looming chance of torrential rain, this will be one of our muddiest and most memorable weekends of the year.

Belvoir Castle: Where Stunning Views Meet Serious Challenges
Just 6 miles west of the UK’s town of Grantham in an area teeming with historic estates and manors, Belvoir Castle towers above the challenging course situated within its expansive grounds. Vast, rolling grassy hills are contrasted with dense woodlands at the drop of a hat, which will not only make for tons of trail technicality and steep inclines/declines that demand your utmost endurance and strength, but the varied and everchanging terrain creates the perfect setting for deep, muddy pits and water-filled trenches. We hope you plan on packing a backup pair of shoes.
We’re even making some special tweaks to all of your favourite obstacles to make this boggy course one of our most difficult on the calendar. Plus, it rained heavily on our Midland Mudders last year and they survived… ish. Just saying. 😏
Choose Your Distance (or Cheer on Your Friends)
Ready to conquer killer hills with scenic rewards? There are muddy milestones for everyone in your squad at Tough Mudder Midlands. Choose from a 5K format with 12+ obstacles or a 15K with 20+ obstacles, or – if you really feel like going the distance – see how many laps you can complete in 8 hours with Tough Mudder Infinity, offered on Saturday only. Get competitive and try to beat our 85K record, or take it easy with friends for an anything but average weekend outing. Either way, you’ll leave with unforgettable memories and an insatiable itch for a clean pair of clothes. Worth it.
