Apres Mud: Brace yourself for a Mudder Mixology Masterclass

Let's face it, nobody wants their Tough Mudder experience to end with that orange (or green, or blue…) headband. At TMHQ we listen to our Mudders, so crossing that finish line is just the beginning of the Mudder experience. This year we give you Tough Mudder post party 2.0: Après Mud. Once you've earned your place in Mudder Legion you deserve to show off that headband, and the Bar tent is the place to do it. If you left it all out on the course it's the place to go to grab a seat, sip a pint and relive those memories with your fellow Mudder Legionnaires—and if you've still got some energy left our DJs are on hand to keep you dancing until 11pm.

Wild Turkey Bourbon will be travelling the UK with Tough Mudder and pitching up their Juke Joint bar at Après Mud—the ideal opportunity to unwind after the challenge and shake off the mud.

Remember, bourbon is whiskey, not all whiskey is bourbon. While you've been training for Tough Mudder for months (or years), they've been distilling and ageing their bourbon for even longer—between you and us, there's nothing half-assed here, so for the true Mudder experience it has to be Wild Turkey Bourbon.

Cocktail Recipe: Electroshock Therapy

A fruity bourbon cocktail mixing Wild Turkey 81, raspberry liqueur, fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup and soda water for a refreshing post-mud fix!

Step 1: Take a highball glass and fill with ice
Step 2: Add in 40ml Wild Turkey 81 and 10 ml of Velvet Falernum
Step 3: Top with Ginger ale, add a dash of Angostura Bitters, and garnish with a blue glow stick, lime wedge and grapefruit zest

Cocktail Recipe: Walk The Plank

This cocktail serves up a tangy treat, perfect to get you in the mood to celebrate. Wild Turkey 81 Bourbon served with lime, almond and clove laced sugar syrup topped with ginger ale and Angostura bitters.

Step 1: Take a highball glass and fill with ice
Step 2: Add in 35ml Wild Turkey 81, 15ml Framboise, 20ml lemon juice and 10ml gomme
Step 3: Top with soda, and garnish with an orange slice and skull and cross bones flag
