Tough Mudder Tahoe - Everything but the Kitchen Sink

Published on 14 August, 2014 by Brady Archer

Mudder Nation,
Are you ready to take on Tough Mudder Tahoe?
We are back at Tahoe for our fourth time, and this time we are throwing everything and the kitchen sink at this course. Well, not actually the kitchen sink... but that could be a good obstacle name. We’ll work on that for the future. But for now, back to Tahoe.
In the past we have stuck to a very similar course route at Northstar Resort, but that is all about to change. We have completely redesigned the course to allow for participants to interact with spectators at 12 of our marquee obstacles in and around the mid mountain area. But fear not, this does not mean that you are going to have an easy course. In fact, we have just as much, if not more elevation gain than previous Tahoe Mudders have experienced.
Get ready for a grand tour of all of the ups and downs that Northstar has to offer. This course will test everything you have, and then some. Prepare for black diamonds up, quick descents down, and obstacle upon obstacle in between.
To get you pumped up for this weekend, our course team tested out the course this morning. Here is a preview video to get you ready.

Good job, Big Mudder. The old course was great, but after 3 events it was getting too predictable. Charging up Cliff Hanger after 7 miles and running through Base Camp put a real test on my calves.
