5 Reasons Why Midlands Was Better Than Glastonbury

This weekend we welcomed over 10,000 Mudders to Belvoir Castle for Tough Mudder Midlands. A stunning scene for lots of epic madness and muddy bravery.

It wasn’t just any weekend too. It was Europe’s Toughest Mudder.

Call us confident but we’ve got five reasons why Tough Mudder Midlands was the place to be this weekend, not Glastonbury.

1. We Always Deliver

In fact, we over-delivered, adding some extra kilometers to the course. We believe Mudders can handle a bit more, even if they think they can’t.

There’s always that one artist or act that doesn’t live up every year at Glastonbury. We’ll never do that. We’ll surprise you, Mudders.

2. Arctic Enema’s, Not Monkey’s

Mudders were headliners and it was the greatest hits all weekend, this weekend. We saw cold, hard plunges into ice pools all weekend as well as the various other water obstacles on show.

A rare welcome site for Mudders to cool off. Usually, Arctic Enema is an ice cold magician, making private parts disappear.

3. We Go Harder Through The Night

A 12 hour race through the night, stacking as many laps as Mudders can physically and mentally handle.

Look up the word ‘crazy’ or ‘hard’ and you’ll see a picture of a Europe’s Toughest Mudder. We even saw multiple Mudders stack 9 laps, that’s 90 kilometres though the night.

4. Our Community Is The Best In The World

There’s no other community in the world like our Mudders. Pushing, motivating, and celebrating together all weekend is what makes these weekends what they are.

After bumping into each other, being kicked in the face (accidentally) and general madness on the course. We’re all still able to smile and have a beer together at the end.

Glastonbury could never.

5. We Had A Castle, An Actual Castle

A shoutout to the venue. Having a castle in the background of all the muddy chaos and scenes made it feel like Downton Abbey had taken a unique twist.
