WHAT ARE THE ENDURANCE SERIES FORMATS?
There are two different events formats in the Endurance Series in 2026. They are Tough Mudder Infinity, and World’s Toughest Mudder.
HOW LONG ARE ENDURANCE SERIES EVENTS
Endurance Series events don’t have a fixed distance, they have a fixed time limit. The challenge is simple: complete as many laps as you can before time runs out. Tough Mudder Infinity events are 8 hours long, beginning Saturday morning. World’s Toughest Mudder is a full 24-hours, beginning on Saturday morning and ending on Sunday.
ARE THE ENDURANCE SERIES EVENTS COMPETITIVE?
Sort of. Unlike most Tough Mudder events, the events in the Endurance Series have timing chips and leaderboards; however, the expectation is that the athletes will uphold the Tough Mudder values, including helping those around them, These events are ultimately about seeing what you’re capable of, not leaving other athletes in the mud.
Will the Holy Grail Take Place in 2026?
Not this year. The Holy Grail very much remains as part of Tough Mudder, but it’s taking a break from the 2026 line-up.
