If you joined us during the 2022 season, you more than likely saw some of our partners around the course or within the village. If you didn’t join us, why not? You missed out. Bringing mudders food, drink, apparel, and much more in a muddy good 2022.
Our official partners joined us up and down the country and provided plenty of epic moments. Take a look back at some of the highlights as we recap the year.
Talk Jerky To Me
Wild West Jerky, our official jerky partner, was the new go-to option for participants to refuel after crossing the finish line this year. Offering a level up to a mudders protein game, a common sighting in the village is a finisher with a t-shirt and headband on, plus a pack of jerky in hand. So much so that 95,000 packs of jerky had been handed out throughout the 2022 season.
That’s not all, Wild West Jerky have been putting mudders to the test, whether it’s the challenge of getting up and over Mudderhorn, or riding the infamous Wild West Jerky rodeo bull. There’s more to experience than just nibbling some beef, salmon, or vegan jerky.
Reign On Me
Need a boost and a quick zap of energy, Reign, our official energy drink partner, have you covered. You may have seen the Reign truck around the village (if not, how did you miss it?), where the team had been re-energising mudders BUT also putting a challenge to them too. How long can you hold the Reign hammer? Strains, gurns, and all sorts of faces were pulled when trying to keep it up…a sight and story that not many brag about. Nonetheless, 55,968 cans were handed out during the 2022 season.
You may have also seen Reign around Pyramid Scheme, the obstacle which really brings out the (wannabe) tactical genius in the group, blurting out what the best strategy or shape is for conquering the climb. If you haven’t heard this in your group, it’s probably you.
Light It Up
Fancy something warming and alcoholic, you won’t find many better options than Fireball. Our official whiskey partner, Fireball has been bringing the heat with their shots in the race village, but also bringing the cold with Arctic Enema. Mudders dealt with both ends of the spectrum in their Tough Mudder and Fireball experience. We think there’s probably a bias towards the warmer end of that spectrum though as 5,000 shots were done at every Tough Mudder event. Also, the various swear words said after taking the plunge in Arctic Enema would also support that argument.
Ridin’ Dirty
You may have seen it rolling around the Tough Mudder course, or even stationary at Mud Mile. Isuzu, our official automotive partner, is the vehicle companion for conquering the mud.
Leaving countless skidmarks on the course (we’ve heard a few mudders brag about the same), the Isuzu definitely conquers the Tough Mudder conditions. It even beat out two professional free runners, in case you missed it, see for yourself here.
Hydration For The Nation
Greeting mudders at the finish line, Actiph is our official finish line water partner, bringing much-needed refreshment after completing the course. Mudders are a very thirsty bunch, this year, 68,544 Actiph water bottles have been handed out, plus 34,848 Acti-Vit cans.
That’s not all, Actiph also brings the shock factor to mudders with Electroshock Therapy. Typically adding a bit of snap, crackle and pop to end of the course.
Feelin’ Fruity
No matter the weather, sun, wind or rain (and usually it’s the latter in the UK), Three Fold Hard Seltzer brings fruity flavours to cut through to the good times. Our official finisher drink for the 2021/22 season, if you fancy something alcoholic at the finish line, Three Fold Hard Seltzer has you covered., It’s been well received from mudders this year too with 80,505 cans drunk.
You may have also seen Three Fold Hard Seltzer at Everest. Not the mountain in the Himalayas, but the equally challenging and scary obstacle on the course. Asking mudders to give their best Kate Bush impression and run up that hill…or ramp. Providing plenty of Instagrammable moments, whether you slipped, fell, or smashed it first time. Be honest, did you make it first time?
