Top 3 Moments of South West 2024

This year, Tough Mudder South West 2024 brought a whole season’s worth of grit and determination into one day. We saw over 6,000 Mudders take on the course and conquer the course.

Spirits were extremely high and the vibes were immaculate around the Badminton Estate. Relive it and see what you missed with our top 3 moments of South West 2024.

Over 6,000 Mudders In ONE Day

That’s insane, right? Mudders flocked to the South West 2024 event for this one day event and sold out the tickets.

That meant an extra couple of sets of hands for boosts up Mud Mile, an extra couple of sets of legs to climb up on Pyramid Scheme, and plenty more fails on every other obstacle too.

Sun, Slips, and Sweet Sensations

Living in the UK means that having a good day of sunshine feels like a birthday present, and not like a sh*t birthday present like a pair of socks but a good one like a brand spanking new bike or a PlayStation. At Tough Mudder South West 2024, we had a brand spanking new bike of a day. The weather was glorious and Mudders earned a medal as well as a tan.

We still saw plenty of slips, trips, and falls, as we always do (and we love it) – the difference this time was that people didn’t mind it in the sun. In fact, Mudders seemed to enjoy Arctic Enema and the water obstacles a lot more than usual.

What’s more, the BrewDog finisher beer, the Acti-Vit cans, Actiph bottles and all the other treats that Mudders earned tasted that much sweeter in the warm weather.

Heroic Efforts

All day Mudders dusted themselves off and tried again, whether it was a failed attempt on Everest or a missed footing on Mud Mile, or we even saw Mudder who attempted Pyramid Scheme three times…what an absolute hero. If you followed our social channels this weekend, you saw all about it along with the other Mudder legends.
