Just two hours from downtown Toronto, Tough Mudder Canada is back this September and tearing up the trails at Gopher Dunes, one of the country’s premier off-road motocross parks and the ultimate muddy playground. The sandy dirt bike track delivers the perfect mix of undulating and rugged trails, winding forest paths, and wide-open fields, all on mostly flat, beginner-friendly terrain that still packs a hearty punch.

The terrain? Mostly flat with some gentle, scenic undulation, perfect for first-timers and seasoned Mudders alike. But don’t let these postcard-caliber views fool you: There’s plenty of mud to go around, especially with all-time classic obstacles like Mud Mile ready to face you down.

Nestled in the lush hills and bamboo forests of Sanqingyuan Park in Hangzhou, China, Tough Mudder China is turning up the mud and turning out the next generation of gritty little legends this year. Bring your 4-6-year-olds out to tackle our 4K, 14-obstacle course, and ages 7 to 14 can level up to the 4.8K course with 19 signature, epic obstacles. This unforgettable adventure serves up mud-packed trails, big hill climbs, castle views, and plenty of wide-eyed wonder.
Set in the idyllic “Birthplace of Sanqing Tea,” the venue is surrounded by terraced fields and outdoor sports parks, making it a natural playground for kids to challenge themselves, build confidence and lifelong connections, and get a little dirty doing it. There’s even a paragliding base nearby if you’re looking to add some extra thrill to your family weekend. While registration isn’t available to international Mudders, this weekend is a powerful reminder of just how far the Tough Mudder community extends, and offers an unmatched opportunity for these little Mudders to learn life-long skills in teamwork, resilience, and grit – one muddy obstacle at a time.
