What brought you to Tough Mudder?
“Me and a friend decided to sign up as we have both recently decided to get our fitness levels up and thought something like this would be a great challenge and something to work towards competing in”
Fears?
“I’d say my biggest fear would be the swinging obstacles. I know my upper body strength isn’t good enough to take that on yet but hopefully with plenty of training and conditioning I can take it head on and get through it without falling” (hopefully)
Training?
“I am going to the gym 5 times a week now to help lose some Christmas weight and build my strength and stamina. Doing a mixture of weight training and cardio. Also signed up to part take in some early morning sea swimming to hopefully condition my body to not be so shocked when entering the cold waters” 🥶
Finish Line?
“It would mean a lot to me because it will show me that everything I’ve been putting into my training has paid off and I’ll also be able to rub it in my wife’s face as she thinks I don’t actually go to the gym. She thinks I just sit in the car for a few hours and go home” 😂.
