Braving the Mudder-Favourite Broughton Hall Estate

The magnificent Broughton Hall is a Grade I Georgian building and you’ll know it the second you lay eyes on the elegant pillars, towering walls, and absolutely expansive rolling hills that surround this gem of a property. It’s why we keep coming back.
This year, we’re throwing a few wild cards into the mix with a completely new course to test what you’re made of. Don’t worry, you’ll get your fair share of stone bridges and signature obstacles that will have you crawling and climbing to your heart’s delight. But don’t get too comfortable or let your head get stuck in the clouds: this venue is actually relatively high on our difficulty scale, marked by leg-burning hills, extremely muddy trenches, and weaving woodland trails that demand your full attention if you want to steer clear of trees.
Broughton’s murky, electrifying waters will leave you soaked and shocked to the bone (especially within the obstacle Mud Mile – spectators, take note), but if you’re prepared to laugh in the face of pain and push your pride aside, we can’t wait to see you at the Tough Mudder Yorkshire finish line.
Choose Your Distance (or Cheer on Your Friends)

Ready to conquer one of the UK’s favourite (and muddiest) Tough Mudder destinations? There are milestones for everyone in your squad at Tough Mudder Yorkshire. Choose from a 5K format with 12+ obstacles or a 15K with 20+ obstacles, or – if you really feel like going the distance – see how many laps you can complete in 8 hours with Tough Mudder Infinity, offered on Saturday only. We bet you can’t beat our 85K Infinity record, but we’d really love to see you try.
If you’re not quite ready to hit the course yet – or if a friend invited you out to cheer them to the finish line – grab your Spectator Pass to join in on all of the post-course fun at our iconic Mudder Village Festival.
