Meet Nadine Wendt, a remarkable individual whose journey in the world of obstacle course racing has been nothing short of extraordinary.
Having conquered an astonishing 50 Tough Mudder events, Nadine has now transitioned into competitive OCR racing, all thanks to the transformative influence of Tough Mudder.
In this blog, we delve into her inspiring story of resilience, determination, and the profound impact that the Tough Mudder community has had on her life.
WHY?
Completing 50 Tough Mudders has been an incredible journey, and I owe a significant part of my success and motivation to the supportive Tough Mudder community.
Without this community, I wouldn’t be where I am today, continuing to push my limits and achieve new goals.
Tough Mudder marked my initiation into the world of obstacle course runs.
My first Ultra race experience was at Europe’s Toughest Mudder and World’s Toughest Mudder, and while I’ve ventured into more competitive OCR events, Tough Mudder holds a special place in my heart.
It’s all about having fun on the course and supporting one another.
HOW DOES IT FEEL WHEN YOU COMPLETE A TOUGH MUDDER RUN?
After finishing a Tough Mudder run I feel so good.
Every run is completely different.
I run with different groups (old friends or newbies) and I like when you get to know new people on the course and then finishing together as one big team.
WILL YOU BE RETURNING?
I hope to come back to Europe’s Toughest Mudder next year.
I am also so happy that Tough Mudder is returning to Germany again so I can finally wear my 50+ headband in Berlin in August.
I will be running with my old friends again and with my father who battled cancer last year 💪.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of British friends again as they are coming to Germany, I haven’t seen them for a long time.
Tough Mudder is a big family that I am happy to be a part of.
