Our Favourite Lidl Mudder Obstacle Designs So Far

As we expected Lidl Mudders are well and truly showing up their grown up counterparts by submitting some incredible, imaginative obstacle designs. Hang your head in shame big Mudders.

If your mini obstacle engineers are yet to submit their designs, don’t worry. We’ve extended the competition so you can still send us designs right up until next Friday (that’s the 22nd May. Fancy a sneak peek at some of the epic ideas that are coming from Lidl Mudders all over the country? Of course you do.

Lollipop Stick Masterpiece

We named this one ourselves (don’t judge) but we think it’s a pretty apt name for nine year old Quinn’s crazy obstacle design. We love the fact that she built a 3D model, built to scale for her Mudder test dummy and we’re especially fond of the googly eyes which we hope to bring to an obstacle course near you soon.

Snot Drop (AKA Nostrils of Doom)

Is there anything more fascinating than snot when you’re a kid? Clearly not judging by six year old Maeve’s brilliant design. Utilising some classic Tough Mudder obstacle ingredients (small spaces, water and drop) Maeve has focused on bringing the challenge factor to her obstacle.

Spaghetti Therapy

What better way to design a Lidl Mudder obstacle than taking inspiration from one of Tough Mudder 15K‘s most talked about obstacles? Lidl Mudder Violet, aged ten has done just that by taking the experience of Electroshock Therapy and making it kid-friendly. Where there were once electrified wires are now ropes, giving you all the fun of dodgy and diving out of their way with none of the pain. We imagine there are a few adult Mudders who would rather try this one.

We’ve been blown away by the awesome Lidl Mudder obstacle designs that have landed in our inbox and there’s still time for more. Simple snap a photo of your Lidl Mudder’s design and email it to us at [email protected].
