Belvoir Castle might look majestic, but the historic estate grounds do not play fair for 2027. Located in Grantham, this course swaps postcard-perfect views for a massive, energy-sapping battlefield, cementing its spot as one of the most technically difficult events on the entire UK calendar. Expect killer Midlands hills, plenty of incredibly muddy tracks, and scenic views of the castle. All of the obstacles are up-scaled for this event with a number of tweaks and surprises in store due to the varying, unforgiving terrain. The ground here holds water like a sponge, transforming the dirt paths into a heavy, suction-heavy sludge that will weld itself to your boots and pull your shoes clean off your feet. Kids by Spartan
Kids by Spartan is a 1km, 1.5km, and 3km course packed full of obstacles to give kids aged 4-14 the chance to work as a team and get muddy. It’s THE mud and obstacle run for kids. This year, there’s no reason why the whole family can’t get muddy.
