Here at Tough Mudder we are constantly looking for new recipes that we can try at home, luckily our friends at PhD Nutrition are always on hand with delicious and protein-packed ideas. When you’ve been training hard, you deserve to eat something yummy – these pancakes are the perfect quick, easy and most importantly tasty recipe for your post-workout treat.
Preparation & Cooking Time:
15 mins
Makes 4-5 medium sized pancakes
Ingredients Required:
1 cup of oats
1 scoop of PhD Smart Protein Plant Chocolate Chip Cookie flavour
1tbsp of maple syrup
1tbsp baking powder
100ml of unsweetened almond milk
Ingredients for the Toppings:
1 PhD Smart Bar Plant in Chocolate Coconut & Cashew flavour
Desiccated coconut & maple syrup
How To Make It:
1. In a blender blitz the oats to make oat flour, then add the remaining ingredients!
2. Preheat a pan with a little oil on a medium heat, wait 2 mins until warm and then begin to spoon your pancake batter into pan x2 at a time
3.Transfer to plate to stack
4. Top with a cut up PhD Smart Bar Plant Choc Coconut & Cashew bar, sprinkle with desiccated coconut and extra maple syrup!
