Why so many Tough Mudders?
“I love running Tough Mudders. My initial goal was 10, but now i don’t want to stop”
What challenges do you face on course and how do you overcome them?
“I’ve noticed that some of the obstacles are a little harder like Mud Mile. It’s definitely deeper than in previous years. I just work with the people around me to get through it. I help them and they help me”
Are you returning for another event soon?
“I signed up for my first Toughest Mudder this year and running a standard Mudder later in the year. I normally run two per year. I love the adventure and the chance to push myself every time”
Any advice to a first timer Mudder?
“Take rock climbing lessons because some of the techniques will save your energy on the course plus it will improve your grip and leg strength. And if you’re on the fence, just sign up. There’s a whole team on the course to help. I’ve run seven without any teammates but had plenty of help”
What is the craziest thing you have ever witnessed on course?
“Mudders running without shoes. I saw one Mudder who was participating in an infinity event. Wow”
